In 2025, as part of the Expedition Bilzen-Hoeselt, three long-distance hikes will be launched. This loop starts at the Prieeltje in Bilzen and takes you over 28 km past Kasteel Edelhof, Kasteel Groenendaal, and Fort Honckholt. You will walk through the Munsterbos where you will pass the Amorkapel and the chapel of the Secret Army.
A podcast has also been created specifically for this hike. This way, you can learn more about sights, stories, and trivia during this beautiful walk.
The route is about half unpaved and car-free, and you will pass various taverns, bistros, and cafés along the way.
