In 2025, three long-distance hikes will be launched as part of the Bilzen-Hoeselt Expedition. This loop starts at the Kluis van Vrijhern and takes you past the Sint-Hubertus Church, typical hollow roads, the artwork #inconcreto, and no less than three castles over a distance of 25 km. The castles of Schalkhoven, Hardelingen, and Hoogveld.
The route consists of about half unpaved and car-free paths, and you will pass by various taverns and cafés.
